Snow Go

The Weardale Ski Club Ltd

Sadly looks like no skiing this weekend at Swinhope unless there is significant snowfall overnight. There is still a lot of snow on the fells but it is very patchy and in the interests of safety it was decided not to open today (Saturday). Snow has been forecast but at the time of writing no sign of it yet but if snow does fall overnight the answerphone (01388 527527) will be updated in the morning.

Yad Moss report a good days skiing today and they are planning to open tomorrow. They also report short queues today. If any WSC members do go over there remember to take your current membership cards to benefit from our reciprocal arrangement.

For those of you interested in other outdoor activities have you thought of joining Durham Mountain Sports - details of their club and forthcoming AGM below.
